Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me (Psalm 23:4; NLT).

“We entered the land you sent us to explore” (Numbers 13:27; NLT).

I devoted myself to search for understanding and to explore by wisdom everything being done under heaven (Ecclesiastes 1:13; NLT).

Darkness is my closest friend (Psalm 88:18; NLT).

With you beside me,
I’m not afraid
To explore the world
Around me.

With you beside me,
I’m not afraid
To explore who I am
In relationship to others.

And with you beside me,
I’m not afraid
To explore the inner darkness
Of my soul.

“And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength” (Mark 12:30; NLT).

Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you (John 6:27; NLT).

I love you.

Whatever today may bring,
Please give me
The physical,
And spiritual energy
I need,
So I can handle it all  –
With you.

The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever (Psalm 121:8; NLT).

“If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders” (Luke 15:4-5; NLT).

The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you (Deuteronomy 33:27; NLT).

Thank you for keeping watch over us,
As we explore our world.

When we wander off, so far
That we can’t hear your voice
Calling us home,
Please come to meet us
In the wilderness,
And bring us back to safety,
In your arms.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (John 8:36; NIV).

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10; NLT).

“My Father’s house has many rooms” (John 14:2; NIV).

“I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold” (John 10:16; NRSV).

Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favouritism. In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right” (Acts 10:34-5; NLT).

You set us free,
And give us life
To the full.

Thank you
That we don’t all
Have to think,
And behave
Alike –
Whatever anyone says!
